Back to normal now after an AMAZING Jubilee Break …
The Town Centre is at the beginning of its major redevelopment which will mean some temporary inconvenience to be experienced. We are pleased to say that Makinson Arcade is not directly affected and we have been assured that the Arcade will remain open throughout the development work, and WE ARE NOT PLANNING TO CLOSE AT ALL.
The Galleries Car Park has closed but there are others at Water Street multi-storey, Mona Street car park and Harrogate Street car park. Parking on these Council car parks is currently FREE AT WEEKENDS. Alternative town centre car parks can be found on the Council’s website www.wigan.gov.uk/carparking
