A true timeless design 18ct yellow gold ring simply set with a brilliant cut diamond weighing an estimate 0.45 in a white gold 8 claw classic coronets setting.  Chenier tubes in shoulders 18ct Hallmark. Currently a finger size R suitable for alteration.

A coronet setting is a circular setting with high prongs that gets its name from its resemblance to a crown. Created to secure the stone, these settings are sawn to form a crown and incised to hold the girdle of the stone with the top of the prongs pushed over the crown of the stone.
